So, your story must be exclusive and original. It can be informative, exceptionally heartwarming, hilarious, explosive, wacky,  tragic, moving, saucy, bizarre, extreme or have an unexpected emotional twist.

My editors need to know I'm offering them a "real find" - that is a revelation or an account of a unique personal experience their own staff writers can't just pick up the phone and interview themselves. They don't need me for general research or case studies.

They want me to discover you as a very special person who has been through some extraordinarily emotional experience that does not fit in a conventional box. It works best when, except for you coming to me, they'd never have known about you and what has happened in your life that you want to tell.

You will be handled sensitively and sympathetically as I understand and appreciate emotions often run deep. I'll share this with you and together you will get the result you want and are expecting.

While your life is not a commercial commodity, you don't want to get taken for a ride on its value either. Through me, you will learn the financial value of your story because I will put a brief summary of it together first and run this by several appropriate magazines you're happy with - and we can see if and what sum of money they offer you.
