My editors are a lovely, if fickle bunch, with an inquisitive, open mind! They get  most excited by recently ended, larger-than-life true stories involving peoples'  extraordinary personal relationships or incredible events which must not have already appeared in national print. Your story must be exclusive and original. This can be informative, exceptionally heartwarming, hilarious, explosive, wacky,  tragic, moving, saucy, bizarre, extreme or have an unexpected emotional twist.

My editors like to think I'm offering them a real gem of a unique story they can't otherwise easily just get by themselves. They don't need me for everyday, run-of-the-mill features! 

They want me to discover you as a very special person who has been through this extraordinary experience. It works when, except for me, they'd never have known about you.

Extreme or unusual health - with an emotional twist
Medical miracles, overcoming a rare or unusual illness, overcoming mental illness or psychological problems like addiction or phobias, DIY Extreme Makeover with plastic surgery, loss, weird allergies,  near-death experiences, the emotional impact of illnesses affecting your appearance (like alopecia, skin conditions, disfigurements), faked illnesses uncovered, dramatic slimming success - losing over half your body weight, cosmetic surgery gone right or wrong with amazing before and after pics, raising awareness of positive, pioneering or revolutionary  treatments, inspiring others, personality issues, help in getting over a big hurdle or trauma, etc
 
Being an amazing mum
