Woman''s Magazine Journalist

Here's the face behind this website.  Although the terms "us" and "we" are used to give a professional tone - this is actually all my own work as a writer.

My name is SUSAN WALLACE and I'm well-established as one of the UK's leading freelance journalists.  This is a snap of me at the last, prestigious Merseyside Media Network Awards dinner at the Holiday Inn, Liverpool - where I'm based. I've been announced runner-up two years running in the Freelance category. This year Liverpool is celebrating being European Capital of Culture 2008.

I've regularly supplied beautifully written features for various magazines and newspapers for around 20 years, working full-time. I have a Psychology Degree With Honours from Liverpool University which I feel makes me an understanding listener you'll feel comfortable talking to.

My Masters degree in Screenwriting (Writing for Film and Television) from LJMU which provides further depth and colour to your article. I'm not tied or employed by any media business or fronting a press agency - although journalism is, by its nature, a team effort.  So I offer a personal touch many interviewees benefit from.  Why not browse over my track record (below) to give you the confidence to go ahead?

I love women's magazines!
As a free agent, I am in constant contact with many different top women's magazines -pitching and writing true stories, like yours, almost daily. It's very rewarding. I have a personal collection of around 3,000 archived women's magazines.

I've written for all these top, national magazines, with over 20 true story double page spreads in over a handful of them. This gives you some idea of where your true story will appear - you will know for sure, and have it all in writing first, before we go ahead.
