The public
I will pay a one-off fee of £50 for introducing me to someone else whose story I get published. Please approach the person first and then contact me with brief details of their story and their phone number.
Why "Tell-a-friend"?
It's not just the tip-off fee, of course. Somebody who has pulled through a happy or hard time recently may be thinking of doing their story, but have just not got round to it. The longer they leave it, the less impact and interest there will be - and if they wanted some good to come out of it, they could be sorry. Anyway, most people don't mind just being prompted and may well thank you for making them aware of me!
Press officers
Clearly this website is written for case studies to read - but I think it is also helpful in showing you how I work, although every journalist works differently, and what I'm looking for. I will also arrange a charity, fundraising, health, good cause or, where appropriate, an organization website plug in return for providing an exclusive case study that results in a published story. I get this confirmed in an email at the point of commissioning and it usually works out very well. This raises awareness, prompts donations and generates invaluable national-level publicity for your work. Please contact me, as the first and only national print journalist please, with any strong, UK, exclusive ready-to-go case study.
NEW! Charity donation scheme
I will also commit to making a £50 donation to any registered charity or fundraising project providing a successful case study on publication of the story. Some interviewees (privately or otherwise) arrange to have all or part of their payment donated to a charity of their choice.
